We presented our work in the Seventh International Conference on Technological Ecosystems for Enhancing Multiculturality (TEEM), which was held in León (Spain) between 16th and 18th October 2019. We presented a paper entitled “Exploiting the Web of Data to bridge formal and informal learning” in the track dedicated to the Smart Learning Environments. We explained the main ideas of the research project and we gave an example to further clarify our intended goals. We also mentioned our preliminary results and the main problems that we are facing, including those related to working with third-party data. Finally, we described our plans for future research.
In the session, there were several researchers devoted to Smart Learning Environments who provided useful feedback about our work and our future plans. They asked additional details about how we deal with data trustworthiness issues, and they suggested us to track the data provenance.
