We presented our work in the 13th International Conference on Ubiquitous Computing and Ambient ‪Intelligence (UCAmI 2019), which was held in Toledo (Spain) between 2nd and 5th December 2019. Our presentation was framed in the e-Madrid workshop organized during this conference.
We presented a paper entitled “The potential of Open Data to automatically create learning resources for smart learning environments“. The paper proposes to take advantage of the open data published on the Web to automatically create learning resources that can bridge between formal and informal learning. The paper describes our technical system to create such learning resources and argues how we go beyond the state of the art. As the e-Madrid workshop was devoted to Smart Learning, there were many researchers related to this topic. We had a fruitful discussion about our different understanding of smart learning and we obtained very useful feedback about our work.
